Curriculum
The Gifted Young Scholars Academy uses a concept-based curriculum model focused on interdisciplinary units that are revitalized each year. Our curriculum, while rooted in the Virginia Standards of Learning, is differentiated to meet the individual needs of gifted students in the program. Professional development is provided annually for teachers regarding the social/emotional and educational needs of our gifted learners.
